A Story of Seamless Repair
Gail experienced a failure in her roof which caused a leak onto the living room ceiling of her rental in Lower Hutt. Once water got behind the custom-textured finish on the ceiling, it began to peel away, leaving an ugly bare patch, flaking plaster, and a half square metre area of bulging textured paint.
Simply repainting was not the answer, because Gail needed the texture of the re-paint to match that of the surrounding (undamaged) ceiling. After carefully studying the existing paint and some off-site experimentation, we were able to create a perfect match with a mixture of three materials. Once painted again, the repaired patch was indistinguishable from the rest of the ceiling.
All Gail needed to do next was replace the carpet!
